DR. CHRISTOPH BEST

Co-Founder, has more than ten years of experience in computational science. In his day job, he is currently a research scientist at the bioinformatics group at the University of Munich working on computational systems biology. He has worked at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Mass., the John von Neumann Institute for Computing in Jülich, and the Konrad Zuse Center for Scientific Computing in Berlin. His particular areas of expertise are multiscale methods, structural bioinformatics, visualization, and high-performance Linux cluster computers. He holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt.
